Sundholm

Sundholm is an ongoing body of work developed through repeated observation of the area surrounding my studio in Copenhagen.

The paintings explore atmosphere, architecture, time, and changing conditions through sustained engagement with the same environments over extended periods. Recent works have incorporated tiled structures built across multiple days and moments of observation, allowing shifting light and experience to accumulate within a single image.

The project is rooted in direct observation and an interest in how painting can transform overlooked or everyday places through prolonged attention.
